Wang Jiayun is a distinguished young mezzo-soprano with the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater. She has been honored with the Excellence Prize at the inaugural Bel Canto International Vocal Competition Beijing Region and received an Honorable Mention at the 8th International Vocal Competition in Alcamo, Italy.

Wang Jiayun has starred in several prominent operas, including The Lost Love, Sai Mei Li, Jiao Yulu, Xiao Erhei's Marriage, Liu Sanjie, Longing for Your Return, and Jiang Jie. She has also performed in Su Wu, Swan, Red River Valley, The White-Haired Girl, Starry Sea, The Horn, Lin Huiyin, The Fiery Mountains, Yutang Chun, Zhang Fuqing, and Singing the Nanliwan. Her performances are noted for their rich vocal quality and compelling emotional depth.
