Chu Xu is a talented young soprano with the China National Opera & Dance Drama Theater. In 2011, she won the Chinese regional competition of the "New Voices" International Vocal Competition in Germany and went on to compete in the finals in Germany. Chu Xu has also held solo concerts in China, the United States, and Italy, earning widespread acclaim.

She has starred in operas such as Lin Huiyin, The Fiery Mountains, Zhang Fuqing, Singing the Nanliwan, and YU, as well as the musical In That Distant Place 2514.
